How it works

Scan. Design.
Place. Tattoo.

The workflow

From scan to stencil, step by step.

01
Scan

Scan the body in seconds

Open DREMONPRO, point the iPad at the body area you’ll be tattooing, and sweep. In under 10 seconds you have a millimetre-accurate 3D mesh of the actual anatomy — every curve, every muscle contour, every fold.

  • LiDAR on iPad Pro M2+ or iPhone 15 Pro+
  • Photogrammetry fallback on older devices
  • Processed on-device, end-to-end encrypted
02
Design

Design directly on the skin

Draw on the 3D body model instead of flat reference photos. See how the design bends, wraps, and flows on the actual skin before the session starts. The AI is trained on your own line work, so generated variations feel like your sketches — not generic AI.

  • Per-artist ML model
  • Voice and text prompts during design
  • Layered references and mood boards
03
Place

Adjust placement in real scale

Move, resize, and reposition the design exactly where it belongs. Because the scan is true-to-scale, what you see is what will fit. Show the client an AR preview on their own body — get approval before the first line.

  • True-scale placement on real anatomy
  • Client-side AR preview link
  • Approval & version history
04
Calibrate

Calibrate to true scale

DREMONPRO locks the design to the client’s real-world dimensions using the 3D mesh as ground truth. Every millimetre is checked — sleeve continuity, joint flex zones, fold lines — so the stencil prints at the exact size your placement requires.

  • Anatomical reference points auto-detected
  • Mesh-locked dimensional accuracy
  • Flex-zone compensation for moving joints
05
Stencil

Generate the perfect stencil

One tap turns the placed design into a ready-to-apply stencil. Lines are simplified, weights optimised for thermal transfer, and the file is tiled to A4 with precise registration marks — no drift, no measuring tape on the skin.

  • One-click stencil generation
  • True-dimension multi-page tiling
  • Registration marks for seamless alignment
06
Print

Print direct from the iPad

Send the stencil straight to a thermal printer over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Multi-page designs print in sequence, pre-aligned for assembly. The same printer profile re-uses every session, so output stays consistent across re-prints.

  • Direct-to-thermal printer output
  • Multi-page print queue with auto-collation
  • Saved profiles per printer model
07
Pin on Body

Pin the perfect placement

Mark the tattoo position before scanning. After the scan, DREMONPRO guides the stencil directly onto the exact approved spot for fast and accurate placement.

08
Tattoo

Start the session prepared

Walk into the appointment with placement approved, stencil pinned, and sizing accurate. The hard part is already solved — you focus purely on tattooing. Gesture and voice controls keep the sterile field intact, gloves on, all session long.

  • Gesture controls work through nitrile gloves
  • Voice commands handle every stencil adjustment
  • Session timeline & progress photos overlaid on scan
Why it works

One source of truth, from first scan to final line.

Every other workflow drifts somewhere between screen and skin. DREMONPRO keeps the same true-to-scale 3D mesh from the moment you scan to the moment you pin the stencil — so placement, proportion and sizing stay accurate the whole way through. Less prep, fewer revisions, and a session that starts already solved.

FAQ

Common questions about the workflow

How long does a body scan take?

Under 10 seconds. LiDAR on iPad Pro (M2+) or iPhone 15 Pro+ builds a 3D mesh on-device with no calibration. On devices without LiDAR, photogrammetry uses the camera and the rest of the workflow is identical.

Does the whole workflow run offline?

Scan, design, place, calibrate, stencil and print all run on-device and work fully offline. Cloud sync and real-time collaboration require a connection.

How accurate is the stencil sizing?

Because the design is locked to the true-to-scale 3D mesh, the printed stencil matches the size and placement you approved on screen — eliminating the 3–5 mm drift typical of flat-photo workflows.

What printer do I need?

Any standard thermal stencil printer with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Large designs are auto-tiled to A4 with registration marks for easy assembly.
